What is the standard lead time for orders?
On average, from the time that the order request is approved, the order is completed within 10 business days. This is of course, dependent upon the number of parts and operations required to complete the order.
Why are there limitations on size for solid wood parts?
Setting parameters on solid wood parts allows for a fail-safe against natural movement of wood and guarantees a higher quality of parts. It also allows for less waste in the nesting process.
Do you cut materials outside of Plywood, MDF and solid wood?
We do not at this time, though we may add other materials in the future.
Do you sand and finish parts?
We de-tab parts, but we do not sand or finish them. You can expect an excellent edge quality (we’ve been doing this for a while).
What if I have a question about a project that is slightly out of scope?
Depending on our current workload, we may be able to entertain custom cutting orders. Custom cutting projects require a minimum order of $1,000 and an added set-up fee of $200 . Please note that longer lead times may occur. For inquiries of this nature, please email hello@upstatecnc.com
What is a .dxf file and why do you require that for quoting/cutting?
A .dxf is a universal vector file format used to share technical drawings and blueprints across different CAD programs. There are various programs that can generate these files such as Adobe Illustrator, any Autodesk program, Solidworks, sketchup or several free web-based programs.

We will review your files and reach out to you with edits or an invoice to move the project forward.
Do you ship?
Yes. Shipping will be calculated once your order is complete (when we know the total weight of your parts). Free pick-up is always available.
I am tax-exempt, how do I submit a tax-exempt order?
